How it works

SecureDriveTM Excess Wear and Use waiver allows you to end your leasing experience with ease. Follow the simple steps below at your lease-end:

Return your car to your dealer

At the end of your lease, return your car to your dealership as normal.

Your car is inspected

Your dealership will perform an inspection to assess damages.

100% qualifying charges are waived

With no deductible, damages like paint chips, interior rips and tears and dents, dings and scratches will be covered.

Receive a final, adjusted statement

Your lease return statement will reflect waived charges, up to $7,500.

Exclusions

  • Product does not waive unlimited excess kilometre charges at lease-end, damage resulting from mechanical / electrical breakdown, or damage to vehicles used for commercial purposes.
  • Product does not repair vehicles or reimburse customers for repairs.

  • Each single event up to $1,000.
  • Each missing part up to $150.

Coverage for new and used

Lease term between 12 – 60 months with options for all makes and models

New

New and demonstration vehicles, must have less than 24,000 km at lease inception and within 1 year of Original In-Service Date.

Used

Used vehicles eligible up to 6 years old.

No, but you can visit your local SecureDrive™ selling dealership to discuss all available SecureDrive™ protection products and purchase from them.

How do I cancel my policy?

You may cancel your policy within (30) days from Contract Purchase Date. Please refer to your policy for full cancellation details and contact the issuing SecureDrive™ dealer to cancel. For further questions about cancellation, contact our customer support team at 1-866-287-6218.

Can I make changes to my policy?

Policy changes must be approved by LGM Financial Services Inc. Please call our customer support team at 1-866-287-6218.

Where can I find my SecureDriveTM coverage?

The issuing dealer will provide you with a paper contract that outlines your agreed upon coverage. If you are unable to locate it, please call the issuing dealer or our customer support team at 1-866-287-6218.
